Independent software workshop · Sweden

Software that stays useful.

Ekehöjd builds practical tools for files, construction, business, infrastructure, and everyday computing. We try to make them clear, reasonable, and good — and keep them that way.

No advertising business. No sale of user data. No pretend enterprise theatre.

Built for use

A workshop, not an ecosystem.

From the workshop

Six tools. One way of working.

Different problems deserve different tools. Choose a tab for the short version; every product has its own page for the details and the honest limitations.

Why Ekehöjd exists

Useful first. Clear by default.

The principles are ordinary on purpose. They are also surprisingly uncommon in software.

All of the principles
  1. 01

    Software should get better

Useful features should not disappear because somebody discovered a more expensive tier.

  2. 02

    You should understand it

We favour systems that are inspectable, predictable, and comprehensible over mysterious black boxes.

  3. 03

    Leaving should be possible

Your data belongs to you. Exporting it should not feel like escaping.

  4. 04

    Price should remain reasonable

Cheaper ways to build and run software should benefit the people using it too.

Workshop note 2026 · 08

Small is not a stage we are trying to hide.

Ekehöjd is a small, independent company building surprisingly substantial things. Products are marked as stable, preview, alpha, or concept because those words should tell you something real.
